Family day in school is a special occasion that allows children to celebrate and appreciate their families. It is a fun filled day where parents extended family members set aside their work and come together to celebrate their special bond. Besides giving families a chance to spend quality time with each other, this day reminds everyone that it is important for families to take time out of their busy schedules every now and then to spend time with the ones that truly matter.
The day started with a eucharistic celebration which emphasized the importance of family and the value of time in keeping the family together. During the program, there were games, intermission numbers and raffle draws. Intermission numbers showcased the talents of the students dancing and music. The parents actively participated during the programs.
Throughout our busy lives filled with learning, teaching and working, it is easy to allow ourselves to lose sight of what should always be most important our children, parents, and other loved ones. Celebrating family day in school is a great way to bond for parents, children and their teachers.
